It is one of the most significant sites in the plain of Arafat. Masjid Al-Namira hosts tens of thousands of pilgrims (guests of God) who gather on the Day of Arafah to perform the Zuhr (noon) and Asr (afternoon) prayers, combining and shortening them, following the example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
