The Center of Islamic Heritage Revival was founded by Umm Al-Qura University in 1396 AH. Early on, the center successfully gathered significant Islamic manuscripts from different regions of the world. In a brief timeframe, the center amassed over twenty thousand manuscripts, benefiting numerous professors from Saudi, Arab, and international universities, as well as graduate students from within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its fields of specialization include Islamic studies, Arabic language, and historical and cultural studies, along with its primary role in reviving Islamic heritage.
